The six-semester Bachelor’s degree “Bachelor of Arts in International Tourism Management” is provided by HTW Saar. Adaptability and flexibility, and courage to try new approaches, are the key qualities this degree aims at stimulating during the studies, since they, in combination with the suitable and solid scientific knowledge, prop up the adequate professional performance of the graduates. It gives students a look behind the scene of what for the customer is only leisure and relaxation, and first-hand experience in what it means to organize smoothly and competently a first-class marketable tourist product or service. Consideration of all stakeholders, dependencies, procedures, legal requirements - an overall systematic approach to the diverse aspects involved in the tourism industry, this is what the degree undertakes to fulfil. Internships abroad, and an intensive specialized language training, will provide further benefit for future professional realization.
