For seven academic semesters, those curious minds and thinkers of the future of Mechatronics and Sensor Technology, will be welcome to complete the “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics/Sensor Technology” at HTW Saar. Application of products developed by specialists in this industrial branch are used on a daily basis nowadays, since sensors are in use all around us. The scientific content from mechanics, electronics, optics and software are combined to teach sensor technology, since sensors are the convertion of mechanical input into electronic readings. The study course, as well as the degree orientation, the realization of the professionals it prepares, all are designed with a close cooperation with industry and businesses, and following the tendencies they report as most recent and in demand. Graduates can expect the best of chances for professional prospects, be it in the traditionally related fields of aviation, robotics and vehicle construction, as well as the modern communication and logistics sectors application.
