In three semesters at HTW Saar students can achieve the Master’s degree “Master of Arts in Social Work”. The studies are focused on practical application of knowledge, derived from evidence-based and legally framed interventions in solving current socially problematic, or planned actions. The “research-based learning and teaching” method is adopted to give maximum opportunities for developing future graduates’ expertise. Management and advisory work in socially-engaged associations and institutions, both state and private, is the logical continuation of the degree course.
