Three semesters are needed to complete the certificate course “Specialist for Language, Sensitivity to Differences, and Intercultural Education” at HTW Saar. Through lectures, exercises and workshops, participants will be taught practical skills on how to identify issues, or use sports and other prevention techniques to create and maintain a tolerant atmosphere in a multicultural educational environment. The contents are delivered by pedagogues, health, language and social workers, experienced in the field. A university certificate is issued after completing all the modules plus a thesis. If some of the parts are attended and no project or thesis work is done, then only a certificate of attendance will be given to participants.
