The “Master of Science in Supply Chain Management” at HTW Saar is programmed within three semesters. Handling quantitative methods for planning of logistics, independent critical thinking for timely and effiicient managerial decisions, and a change-oriented mindset, are qualities which will be stimulated and scientifically backed up by solid specialist knowledge, so that future graduates successfully perform their professional task of coordinating, monitoring, controlling the value chain of information, materials and financial flow. Digitalizations and mobility, personnel management, are also factors in present day logistic processes, so the study of Industry 4.0, team and communication skills, as well as project management, are also enhanced during the course. Not only practioners’ prospects await students after graduation, they are also encouraged to do scientific research investigation, in the form of a cooperative doctoral degree, for example.
