HTW Saar has an eleven-month university certificate course for engineers, with a qualification from outside Germany. “Technical Project Management for Engineers” prepares both for the employment market, as well as gives an outlook on the practical circustances, under which technical work is done in the national context. Language modules are also planned in the curriculum, especially focused on the everyday needs of technical specialists. This is a program of the equivalent of 60 ECTS in two semesters and the the main method of delivery is through group work. Entrance requirements include proof of recognition of the degree and a B1 level of German and English, but, above all – a current contract with a German company, whereas internships are scheduled for the semester break.
