A certificate course at a university level is prepared by HTW Saar under the title “Transregional Child Protection and Children’s Rights in the Greater Region”. The focus of the studies is comparing and finding opportunities for professional help in the child and youth welfare system in the Greater Region. There are three modules scheduled to be covered in one semester – in teaching theory, innovation and practice, which bring 20 academic credits. Face-to-face events are blended with digitally available materials for the execution of a a written thesis and its oral presentation and exam at the end of the program.
