At HTW Saar the study course „Bachelor of Engineering in Vehicle Technology” can be studied in a seven-semester period. The manufacturing of cars, one of the strongest branches of German and worldwide economy, is becoming each day increasingly complex, and specialists in diverse spheres combine effort in order to shape the end product. The degree commits to familiarizing students with all these aspects, so that thorough awareness of all the technological processes, their interdependence and the relations among all the parties and participants involved, become clear. Tomorrow’s vehicle specialists will have to be able to manipulate domains like mechanics, electronics, lightweight construction, but also e-mobility, automated driving, ecology, safety and marketing. The degree will prove to be not only varied and exciting to study, but also respected and in high demand, due to the preparation it gives prospective graduates in dealing with complex issues in an independent way.
