Description
The study program “Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards students who would like to put their scientific knowledge into practice and contribute to the ongoing efforts to stop global warming. Students could choose to continue with their higher education by taking part in the ‘AgrosNet’ co-joint project where they could deepen their scientific knowledge in their desired field. The Bachelor program aims to provide students with a project-oriented approach to examining crop sciences, animal sciences and agricultural economics from a scientific perspective. Amongst numerous mandatory and elective modules, students could also choose modules from the so-called Complementary area, some of them include “Agricultural Meteorology,” “Applied Phytomedicine,” “Soil Protection Botanical Identification Courses,” “Introduction to Plant Biotechnology,” etc.
