The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Classical Archaeology” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time combined bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to seek a career as researchers in historical institutions, museums, education, etc. The Bachelor program focuses primarily on the academic examination of the Greko-Roman cultural heritage from antiquity to nowadays. The aim of it is to provide students with the fundamentals of examining the urban landscape of both empires, as well as the different relics and artefacts that people had incorporated into their everyday lives. Participants are allowed to practice the acquired knowledge by participating in different research projects and even taking part in archaeological field excavations.
