Description
The study program “Master of Laws in Comparative Legal Studies on German, European and Chinese Law” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program operates thanks to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin’s partnership with Tongji University Shanghai and the University of Konstanz. The first two semesters of the Master program are aimed at helping students acquire competence in the Chinese language. In addition to that, participants are required to take part in a three-week summer school either at the University of Konstanz or at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. After successfully completing the First Law Examination, students are given the opportunity to participate in a one-year exchange program at Tongji University. Upon graduating from the program, participants receive a double Master of Laws degree from both The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Tongji University.
