Description
The study program “Master of Science in Computational Neuroscience” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to make a significant scientific discovery in the field of neuroscience. This discipline is relatively new and it requires the collective work of scholars with different academic backgrounds, such as medicine, psychology, physics, etc. The Master program is primarily research-oriented, which allows students to work on their scientific investigations in order to make science better understand the brain’s connectivity patterns and how they relate to neural activity. From the second year on students get the opportunity to make an impact within the field by taking part in practical seminars in a lab. Upon successfully completing the program, participants are awarded a Master degree of Science by both the Technische Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
