The study program “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. The program is targeted towards participants who are interested in starting a career in IT-related sectors. The aim of it is to provide students with the fundamentals of Computer Science and give them the necessary scientific and methodological tools to contribute to current research topics in the field. The Bachelor program does not only offer students the possibility to specialize in an area of their choice throughout the entirety of the study, but it also allows them to go on an exchange program with another accredited university. Prior knowledge of Computer Science is not required. Instead, participants are encouraged to take part in an internship program in order to get used to a vastly paced working environment.
