The study program “Master of Science in Computer Science” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related degree in which extensive knowledge of mathematical foundations of computer science is demonstrated. The Master program aims to comprehensively examine the step-by-step creating processes of intricate computer science systems while encouraging students to conduct independent scientific research in their field of interest. Alongside many elective modules that students can take in order to deepen their knowledge in their desired area, there are also three main specializations offered, namely “Algorithms and Models,” “Model-Based Systems Development,” and “Data and Knowledge Management”.
