The study program “Master of Arts in European History” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The Master program is targeted towards students who would like to find employment in an international organization where comprehension of European cultures and the ability to analytically juxtapose them is necessary. Thanks to UNICA Initiative, this program offers participants the opportunity to study in an internationally-oriented environment by choosing to spend a semester abroad at one of the ten universities that collaborate on this project, located in Europe’s biggest cities. It is important to consider that a significant amount of the modules held at the partner universities would be taught in the country's official language. That is why it has to be noted that a high competency in another European language might be required when taking part in the exchange program. Even though the program is taught in both English and German respectively, participants are obliged to obtain a minimum of 50 ECTS in courses taught in English.
