The study program “Master of Science in Global Change Geography” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in understanding the environmental changes that are currently taking place on the planet from a physical and geographical perspective. The strong focus on qualitative and quantitative research, respectively, allows students to gain the necessary skills to contribute to understanding the complex relationship between Nature vs. Society. The strong focus on scientific research aims at producing sustainable and environmentally-friendly lifestyle for Earth’s inhabitants. The Master program requires prospective students to provide evidence of sufficient background knowledge in physical geography, statistics and the analysis of geoformation data.
