The study program “Master of Arts in Global History” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in learning more about the interconnections between the uneven distributions in some world regions with the notion of global interaction that has been taking place for centuries. The Master program aims at providing a modern understanding of history’s imperial past by focusing on a non-Eurocentric interpretation of it. The academic point of view that the program offers allows students to scientifically examine the geopolitical concepts that shape and have shaped the world. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are awarded a Master degree in Arts by both the Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
