The study program “Bachelor of Science in Horticultural Sciences” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who would like to gain extensive scientific and methodological knowledge in agricultural economics, social sciences and other fields related to high tech production of cultivated land. The aim is to provide students with practice-oriented skills about the environmentally friendly approaches to crop production in artificially made facilities like greenhouses. The Bachelor program offers a mandatory six-month internship opportunity that must be completed before or during the Bachelor program.
