Description
The study program “Master of Science in Horticultural Sciences” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is carried out in partnership with several European universities, namely Technische Universität München, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences Vienna, Universita di Bologna, Agrocampus Quest, Montpellier SupAgro, Free University of Bolzano and Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem. The Master program aims at deepening students’ knowledge of the field by allowing them to take part in ongoing scientific investigations. Alter obtaining the International Master’s Degree in Horticultural Sciences, participants could choose to continue with their academic education by applying for a PhD position. In it, participants could lead their own projects related to the development of environmentally friendly approaches to crop production. All modules in this program are taught in English. However, participants are allowed to take some of the interdisciplinary compulsory electives in German.
