The joint study program “Master of Arts in International Relations” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is done thanks to the interacademic project in which Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin participates in together with the Freie Universität Berlin and Universität Potsdam. That is why participants are required to attend classes at all three universities during their studies. Half of the courses offered are taught in German, while the other half in English. Excellent competence in both languages is therefore required. The Master program allows students to take part in an exchange program for a semester abroad at another accredited university, as well as to gain experience in a three-month internship program at an organization of their choice. The program also allows participants to obtain a double degree in International Relations by taking part in the collaborative program that partners with the Moscow State Institute of International Relations.
