The study program “Law”, offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time combined bachelor course with a duration of ten semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are motivated to pursue a professional career in governmental institutions in which the creation and enforcement of the legal system are required. The aim of the Bachelor program is to acquaint students with the fundamental theoretical knowledge and techniques behind a well-organized solution, disputation and presentation of a given legal case study. Participants are encouraged to actively engage in the independent research of contemporary legal issues by attending lecture and seminars that are given by renowned lawyers, and other attorney representatives. Upon completing their First and Second State Law Examination, students qualify for professions in Federal, State or Local governmental institutions.
