The study program “Master of Arts in Information Science” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards everyone who would like to build a career in one of the following fields: specialized libraries, media archives, publishing houses and information service providers, and/or information management. This program aims to educate young scientists about the significance of Library and Information Science studies and their further development in the scientific field. The Master program offers two compulsory modules, three elective modules, a project module that is based on an ongoing topic of research and an opportunity to complete an internship program. Students must be aware that this program is in part taught in German.
