Description
The study program “Master of Science in Optical Sciences” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is available due to the collaborative partnership of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Science- and Technology-Park Berlin-Adlershof. The Master program is mainly targeted towards participants with a Bachelor degree in Physics and an affinity for scientifically examining the interplay between light and matter. Students who are motivated to contribute to ongoing developments in the field and eventually become Nobel Prize winners could choose to profile their interests in one of the main areas of research that the program offers. These are namely Fundamental Research of Light-matter Interaction on the Nano-scale, Quantum Optics and Metrology, Theoretical Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics and Theory of Light Propagation and Light-matter Interaction in Complex Optical and Quantum Photonic Systems.
