The study program “Master of Science in Organismic Biology and Evolution” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in taking an interdisciplinary approach to academically examining evolutionary processes such as natural selection, speciation, etc., as well as investigating the formation, structure and evolution at the level of organisms. As the Master program aims to deepen the knowledge acquired during the Bachelor studies, a degree in a related field is required. The program deliberately offers elective modules so that students could focus on empirically examining the topics of their interest. After graduating from this program, participants could seek employment in different professional areas in which competence in biology and evolution is desired. Those are namely, palaeontology, ecology, morphology, neurobiology, etc.
