The study program “Master of Arts in Philosophy” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who have obtained at least 60 ECTS in philosophy modules during their Bachelor degree. The aim of it is to further develop the knowledge of philosophical practices that the student has obtained and apply them in a selected area of interest, typically in the form of independently researched academic essays. The Master program does not only allow participants to contribute to philosophical discussions creatively and academically, but it also prepares them for employment in professional fields where excellent analytical and communicative competence is required. Amongst different reading groups and conference excursions, students could take part in several elective modules, such as “Theoretical Philosophy,” “Practical Philosophy,” “History of Philosophy,” “Logic, Philosophy of Language and Metaphysics,” etc.
