The study program “Master of Education in Physical Education (Integrated Secondary Schools and Grammar Schools)” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is the final step that participants must take before starting their traineeship at educational institutions. The aim of the program is to provide students with the fundamentals of didactics, sports pedagogy, sports sociology, sports medicine, sports psychology, training and movement exercise science, social diversity. Participants are given the opportunity to gain practical knowledge in educational sciences due to the practical semester that the program offers. The additional “German as a Second Language” course prepares students for employment in different language organizations and grammar schools.
