The study program “Bachelor of Science in Physics” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in learning the core principles of physics and build a career as researchers and/or scientists. The aim of it is to prepare students to analytically examine scientific issues and independently draw conclusions about the particular subject. The Bachelor program encourages participants to continue with their academic education by allowing them to participate in current research from the beginning of their studies. Some topics of specialization include elementary particle physics, solid-state physics, macromolecules and complex systems.
