Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Rehabilitation Pedagogy” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in gaining extensive knowledge in the field of extracurricular rehabilitation from both practical and scientific perspective. The aim of it is to provide students with the necessary skills to not only work with (partially) inpatient or disabled patients but to also have the required knowledge to evaluate, diagnose and create appropriate rehabilitation plan according to a person’s needs and requirements. The Bachelor program focuses on providing fundamental knowledge to make adequate rehabilitation education decisions to individuals of all ages. Some of the prerequisites to starting the program are a strong interest in working with disabled patients and wanting to contribute to further scientific research in the field, as well as an excellent ability to communicate with others.
