The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Slavic Languages and Literatures” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time combined bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in gaining academic knowledge of the intercultural, literary and historic relationship between the different Slavonic communities. The Bachelor program provides students with a scientific approach to studying Slavonic literary and cultural works of art, as well as the acquisition of Slavonic language competencies. During their studies, participants are provided with the opportunity to choose the following languages either as a core subject or as a second subject: Polish, Russian, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and Czech/Slovak. Participating in exchange programs at a university in the region of Central and Eastern Europe is highly recommended.
