The study program “Master of Arts in Slavic Languages” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is targeted towards participants who seek to acquire academic knowledge about the linguistic structures of Slavonic languages. The program aims at the detailed examination of the grammatical foundations of particular languages that belong to the Slavic region, as well as the social, political and historical contexts from which they originate. Participants are required to select two Slavic languages as part of their practical modules. They could choose between Russian, Polish, Czech, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, Serbian, as well as Bulgarian and Slovak.
