Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Special Needs Education” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time combined bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who are interested in seeking employment in educational institutions in which expertise in working with children with different physical or psychological impairments is required. By basing their teaching approach on the ‘International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health,’ the Bachelor program aims at providing students with the theoretical and practical knowledge of working with children with disabilities. Participants are given the opportunity to work on real cases due to the partnership relations of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin with other accredited universities abroad.
