Description
The study program “Master of Education in Special Needs Education with Focus on Sign Language Pedagogy / Hearing & Communication at Integrated Secondary Schools and Grammar Schools” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time master course with a duration of four semesters. This program is the final step that participants must take before starting their traineeship at educational institutions. The Master program is targeted towards students who would like to build a career in specialized educational establishments in which particular attention is paid to children with different physical or psychological impairments. The aim of the program is to train participants on how to provide the necessary educational, pedagogical and psychological support when teaching children with disabilities. After completing the program, students receive the necessary qualification to also teach German Sign Language.
