The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Sport Science” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time mono-bachelor course with a duration of six semesters. This program is targeted towards participants who may or may not be professional athletes and would like to gain academic insights into the fundamental notions of the subject matter. The aim of it is to train students to independently develop, systematize, perform, analyse and evaluate all sorts of physical movements related to sports while paying particular attention to the domain of Sport, Movement and Education. For participants to be eligible for admission to this Bachelor program, they must show evidence of secondary school qualification in sports or a related course, amounting to at least 30 CP. Another precondition is to provide a medical certificate obtained no earlier than twelve months prior to starting the course.
