The study program “Master of Arts in Sport Sciences” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is targeted towards participants who are interested in seeking a career at different sports clubs and health centres in which scientific knowledge of the acquisition and execution of sports activities is required. The Master program aims at establishing academic foundations for students to not only empirically investigate the field of sports as a science but also to comprehensively examine human movements and the organization of different sports events. Some of the central themes that are discussed in this program include Sociology, Education or Psychology of Sport, Exercise and Movement Science and Sports Medicine. Participants get the opportunity to advertise a healthier lifestyle by exchanging academic knowledge of the subject matter with fellow students from other universities during their studying abroad period.
