The study program “Master of Arts in Urban Geography - Human Geography” offered at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin public university provides a full-time course with a duration of four semesters. The program is targeted towards participants with a Bachelor degree in Human Geography or a related field. The Master program prepares students for employment in professional spheres, such as urban development and individual economic site planning. The aim of it is to establish the groundwork for participants to be able to scientifically evaluate contemporary issues related to the urbanization of metropolitan areas from the perspective of the increasingly globalized world. Participants are allowed to further develop their research competencies by attending numerous field analyses, excursions, internships, as well as exchange programs at partner universities.
