IB Hochschule, founded in 2007, is a state-approved institution of higher education seated in Berlin. It runs further study centers in Cologne, Hamburg, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Coburg, and Munich. IB Hochschule is privately sponsored by IB Gesellschaft für interdisziplinäre Studien (GIS gGmbH). It currently provides more than 500 students with study opportunities at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in two faculties: the Faculty of Health Sciences, as well as the Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences. Two forms of studies are possible: full-time studies, and training-accompanying/extra-occupational studies. The range of full-time studies comprises the study programs “Applied Psychology“ (B.A.), “Occupational Therapy“ (B.Sc.), “Speech Therapy“ (B.Sc.), “Physiotherapy“ (B.Sc.), as well as “Social Work – Integration Management“ (B.A.). Among the training-accompanying/extra-occupational studies are the degree programs “Applied Therapeutical Science: Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy“ (B.Sc.), “Health Care Education“ (B.A.), “Medical Radiology Technology“ (B.Sc.), “Medical Management“ (B.Sc.), “Emergency and Rescue Management“ (B.Sc.), as well as “Health Care Education and Education Management“ (M.A.).
