The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry” is offered by IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. The full-time course of study is spanning a standard duration of six semesters. Taught entirely in English language, the curriculum covers the basic subjects of chemistry which are: general, analytical, inorganic, organic and physical chemistry as well as biochemistry. Moreover, participants are able to specialize in Instrumental Analysis and Chemometrics or in Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The specialization takes part in the sixth semester. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to pursue careers in pharmaceutical industry, food industry, environmental authorities, polymer chemistry and many more fields of applied chemistry.
