The German taught continuing education course “Hospital Hygiene” is offered by IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. The 3-semester curriculum is geared towards students who want to gain in-depth knowledge in infection control and prevention. The extra-occupational training provides students with an opportunity to practice in hospitals or other health facilities. In this way, the theoretical knowledge gained is applied into practice. In addition, career prospects are excellent, being able to work in hospitals, facilities for the prevention, detection or healing of diseases and many more. However, in order to enroll in this program, applicants are required to present a diploma in high service for health and nursing.
