The German-taught degree program “Bachelor of Science in Midwivery” is offered by IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems. The full-time course of study is spanning a standard duration of six semesters. During the program, Pharmacology, Newborn Physiology, Physiology of Birth and many more core subjects are taught. Extremely practice-oriented, the curriculum provides student with the opportunity to participate in internships during each semester. Moreover, participants are taught psychological and supervision skills. However, admissions to the course are restricted and applicants are required to present a general higher education entrance qualification.
