The International Filmschool Cologne, founded in 2000 as a non-profit limited company, is a film school seated in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is considered to be one of the best film schools in Germany. Prospective students are provided with artistic and academic study opportunities at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, which are offered in partnership with the Technical University of Cologne. Offered at Bachelor’s level is the study program “Film“ (concentrations: Directing, Cinematography, Editing Image and Sound, Scriptwriting, Creative Production, Set Design, VFX and Animation), leading to a B.A. degree. On offer at Master’s level are the international study programs “3D Animation for Film & Games“ (M.A.), “Serial Storytelling“ (M.A.), and “Digital Narratives“ (M.A.). In addition, the International Filmschool Cologne offers numerous opportunities for continuing education, be it extra-occupational programs, workshops or training camps. Application phases take place every two years. Prerequisite to study at International Filmschool Cologne is the submission of an online application including the accomplishment of subject-related tasks, and the completion of an admission test.
