The degree program ‘‘Master of Arts in Cultural Studies’’ in the International Psychoanalytic University in Berlin is designed to explore different cultural phenomena and processes in the scope of Psychoanalysis. The study program has focused on the relationship between cultural studies and psychoanalytical thinking and stimulates participants to strengthen the bond between those two aspects of science and life. The Master's program is designed solely as a part-time course which can be covered in 8 semesters. Some of the main subjects reflects on: Cultural Production/Artefacts, Media culture, Knowledge and memory cultures, Everyday worlds, Dimensions of the difference, Social relations and transformations. Graduates can develop professionally in any intercultural field, educational work or join clinical and consulting activities.
