The IU International University of Applied Sciences, founded 1998, is a state-recognized private university for business and management seated in Erfurt, Thuringia. The University combines four different sectors with a total of around 34,0000 students: Campus Studies, Distance Learning, Combi Studies, and Dual Studies. The scope of course offerings at IU Campus Studies ranges from Bachelor and Master degree programs to MBA programs in the fields of Aviation Management, International Management, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism Management, Marketing Management, Transport & Logistics Management, and International Business. The scope of dual studies includes Bachelor and Master degree courses in the fields Marketing, Human Resources Management, Industry & Logistics, Real Estate, Tax & Accounting, Health, Social Work, and Tourism. As for dual studies, IU offers both a variety of Bachelor, Master, and MBA distance learning courses and various continuing education online courses, the latter of which also include language courses. At distance learning level, IU also provides persons without a university entrance qualification to take part in a Bachelor program under certain conditions.
