The “Master of Arts in Translation” is a 3-semester long program taught in German and English. It is suitable for applicants with a corresponding Bachelor’s degree who wish to further their qualifications. The aim of the program is to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. Throughout their studies, participants will receive in-depth theoretical and practical training. The MA offers them the opportunity to choose a specialisation and set their career path early on. Students can choose between Interpreting, Translation of Specialist Texts, Media Translation, English, or Russian. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified for work in Language Services in Public and Private Institutions, International Companies, Mass Media, Educational Institutions with a focus on Languages, and more.
