The double degree program “Translating” is a program with a duration of upt to 8 semesters and carried out in German, English, and foreign languages. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses with a focus on business Law, technology, Natural sciences, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, they’ll gain hands-on experience, key competencies, and soft skills needed for a successful career. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to pursue positions in Multilingual Corporate Communication, Marketing and Public Relations, Translation and Editing of Specialist Texts, Interpreting Conversations or Negotiations, Adult Education, Human Resources, etc. Graduates end up with a double degree, consisting of a Bachelor of Arts and a state examination for translator and interpreter.
