Description
The hotel and tourism industry is a highly competitive one. In order to stand out amongst the mass of competitors, a strong and audience-specific marketing concept is required. That is why there is an increasing demand for specialists with profound know-how in the field of marketing, as well as a solid understanding of industry structures and processes. With this Bachelor's degree, you will qualify for high responsibility marketing positions, e.g. in hotels, tourism groups, tour operators and airlines.
During your studies, you will be taught in-depth marketing skills and specialist knowledge in tourism. You will also acquire management- and business-oriented know-how. Topics such as “Trends and Innovations in Tourism”, “International Marketing” and “Hotel and Quality Management” are covered in detail. You can also choose from a range of elective modules to specialize according to your interests.

Requirements
To be admitted, you need a higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent school-leaving qualification. Alternatively, you can qualify by completing an IHK advanced training course, a master craftsman's certificate or at least two years of completed vocational training and at least three years of professional experience.
In addition, you must have completed an internship of at least three months or have three months of professional experience in tourism. Proof must be provided until the beginning of the 3rd semester.
The intended target group includes school graduates who wish to prepare for a career in marketing within the tourism and hotel industry, as well as employees in the industry who wish to improve their marketing skills.
