Description
After completing this degree program, you will have knowledge in the areas of business administration, management, traditional and digital marketing. You will be able to increase the reach of a brand, design websites, place targeted advertising and thus increase a company's turnover. You will also learn how to use established and new media cross-medially for marketing purposes in order to exploit their full potential. With these skills and knowledge, you will qualify for leading online marketing activities in numerous companies, for example in advertising, marketing and communication agencies, media companies, start-ups or digital agencies.
The course focuses on new ways and opportunities for customer acquisition brought about by digitalization. These include online marketing tools such as social media, websites, email newsletters and influencers. Consequently, learning how to use marketing tools and communication strategies in a targeted manner is an integral part of the course. In addition to management skills, students learn how to create websites, place advertisements and gain knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) / advertising (SEA). Participants also learn how to analyze Google rankings and design effective social media campaigns. While the general management modules teach the fundamentals and basic skills, students deepen their knowledge of the basics in the specialization subjects and can set their personal focus through a wide selection of elective modules.

Requirements
To be admitted to the course, you need a general higher education entrance qualification, entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or an equivalent school-leaving qualification. English language skills from seven years of school English or level B2 are also required. In addition, you must have a three-month internship or other professional experience in the industry by the start of the third semester.
Alternatively, a master craftsman's certificate, advanced training or completed vocational training with three years of professional experience also count as prerequisites for participation.
