Description


This Bachelor's degree program prepares you for management positions in the communications and event industry. You will learn about the special features of the communications and event industry and important economic and social contexts. At the IST University of Applied Sciences for Management, you will study flexibly and independently of location via distance learning and obtain a recognized academic degree.

The IST University of Applied Sciences' flexible and location-independent degree program will qualify you as a communications professional and event specialist. Experienced lecturers from the event industry will teach you current topics such as online events and sustainability. You will learn management-related, legal and business fundamentals and essential specialist knowledge. In addition, you will be supported by personal study supervisors and can specialize individually through a wide selection of elective modules. This will set you apart from your competitors on the job market.

Requirements


You need the general (technical) university entrance qualification or an equivalent school-leaving certificate. Don't have a high school diploma? No problem. You can also study at the IST University of Applied Sciences without a university degree if you have a master craftsman's certificate, advanced training or completed vocational training and three years of professional experience. Seven years of school English or English language skills at level B2 are also required. Furthermore, you must provide proof of at least three months of industry-specific work experience (e.g. an internship) by the start of the third semester.

The target group includes school leavers who are looking to start a career in the communications and events industry. But also career changers with professional experience who want to deepen their knowledge and qualify for a managerial position in event management.
