Description


The dual Bachelor's degree in Sports Business Management prepares you flexibly and practically for a successful entry into the sports industry. After completing this distance learning course, you will have an integrated understanding of the multifaceted sports industry and recognize economic interrelationships. You will also acquire professional, methodical, social and communication skills and be able to use them successfully at national and international level.

In addition to basic business, management and legal knowledge, this distance learning course focuses on industry-specific and cross-sport study content. The basis is created by modules such as “Introduction to Accounting”, “Marketing”, “Corporate Management and Personnel Management” and “Business Ethics”. Industry-specific course content such as “Digitalization in Sport”, “Association and Club Management”, “International Sports Business” and “Sports Marketing” will make you an industry expert in the sports industry. We also offer you a large selection of exciting elective modules, so you can tailor your studies to your interests. The selection includes, for example, “e-Sport Management”, “Football Management”, “Sports Event Management”, “Sports Psychology”, “Management in Equestrian Sports” and “Sports Retail”.

Requirements


For the dual Bachelor's degree in Sports Business Management, it is required that you have previously entered into an apprenticeship with a sports-specific company. You will also need a general (technical) higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent school-leaving qualification. You can also study for a Bachelor's degree without a high school diploma, but you will need to have completed vocational training with three years of professional experience, a master craftsman's certificate or advanced training.

The dual Bachelor's degree course is aimed at anyone who wants to prepare for a career in the sports industry in a flexible and practical way or would like to continue their academic education. In particular, this includes graduates with a (technical) university entrance qualification and career changers.
