Companies currently face many changes in the course of digitalization. In order to have an overview of important innovations and challenges, they are therefore increasingly relying on specialists in the field of digital transformation. The dual Master's degree program will qualify you by combining profound economic and entrepreneurial know-how with valuable practical experience. During your in-company training, you will develop important skills that build on and expand on the theoretical knowledge gained during your studies. This combination of theory and practice will set you apart from your competitors and prepare you for a career in digital transformation management.

The combination of theoretical studies and practical training prepares you for your career as a manager in various companies. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence and digital transformation processes. The content of the general management courses will expand your knowledge in areas such as “Digital Transformation Management”, “Leadership Skills” and “Operational Risk Management”. Exciting specialization subjects build on the basic modules and prepare you for your future professional activities. You will acquire essential know-how in a wide range of areas such as “Agile Organizational and Customer Management”, “Innovation and Process Management”, “Entrepreneurship and Business Development” and “Digital Marketing”. You choose your area of specialization from a wide range of elective modules and shape your studies according to your personal interests and needs. The selection of elective modules includes “Global Innovation Management”, “Communication Psychology” and “Ethics and Sustainability”. By choosing a specialization, you can complete your Master's degree with a focus either on tourism and hotel management or health management.

To be admitted to the dual Master's degree program, you need a contract with a training company. Additionally, you must have completed at least six semesters of economics-oriented studies and need at least 60 ECTS from economics courses. Alternatively, you can catch up on the content in a supplementary course at the IST University of Applied Sciences for Management. In addition to English language skills at level B2, you also need proof of a three-month internship or three months of professional experience in a business-related organization. You can provide this proof up to the third semester.

This program is aimed at Bachelor's graduates who are looking for a flexible qualification for a job in the field of digital transformation and innovation and would like to gain as much practical experience as possible.
