Jade University of Applied Sciences, founded in 2009, is a public university with locations in Wilhelmshaven, Oldenburg, and Elsfleth, Lower Saxony. It breaks down into six departments: the Department of Engineering, the Department of Management, Information, Technology, the Department of Business Administration and Management, the Department of Architecture, the Department of Civil Engineering, Geoinformation and Health Technology, as well as the Department of Maritime and Logistics Studies. Depending on the respective program, graduates of Jade University of Applied Sciences obtain a B.A., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.A., M.Sc., or M.Eng. degree. Prospective students with vocational qualifications also have the opportunity to enrol in a study program without a higher secondary school-leaving certificate.
